Afrobeats superstar Davido and his longtime love Chioma have sealed their union with a stunning white wedding ceremony in Miami, Florida.

In an emotional speech, Davido described Chioma as his “love, peace, and home,” reflecting on the deep influence she has had on his life. The award-winning singer admitted feeling unusually nervous on the big day, praising Chioma for loving him beyond the glitz and glamour of his public image.

“Chioma, I have been on many stages, but this is the most nervous I have ever been. You are my love, my peace, my home. You came into my life quietly and became the loudest and most beautiful part of it. You saw the real me — the me the world doesn’t see — and you still chose me,” he said.

The Miami celebration comes after the couple’s traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024 and their court wedding in March 2023.

Ibifubara Davies, popularly known simply as Ibifubara, has been evicted from the Big Brother Naija Season 10 reality show, becoming the second housemate to leave the competition this season.

Born on July 18, 1997, Ibifubara described herself as a “superstar” who believes every star deserves a platform. Reflecting on her life, Ibifubara cited leaving psychology for a stint in tech as one of her lowest points, calling it a “big mistake.” Despite this, she sees herself as resilient and adventurous. “I’m a 10 because you’ll want me around when the apocalypse comes. I am funny, free and fluid in everything I do, I love to explore, and I particularly love a good conversation. I dey talk!” she said.

Drama unfolded in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house after housemate Doris accused fellow contestant Sultana of urinating inside the box of another housemate, Dede.
