Award-winning Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has revealed that she is open to becoming a second wife, saying her dating pool has become limited as she gets older.
Speaking on the American podcast Air Service, the 44-year-old mother of one said most of the men who show interest in her are either married or in their 50s.
“If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they are either in their 50s or already married. So, I don’t know. Maybe I can be a second wife. I think so. I could be a second wife,” Tiwa said.
The Somebody’s Son crooner added that if she ever becomes a second wife, she would not cause any trouble for her co-wife, explaining that she’s respectful and would mostly be focused on her career.
“I think I can get along with the first wife and she’s going to love me because I’m not going to be troublesome. I’ll be going on tours, I’m not really going to stress you. I’m very respectful, I know you are the first wife and I’ll accord you that respect,” she added.
Tiwa Savage was previously married to music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known as TBillz, from 2013 to 2018. The marriage ended following mutual allegations of infidelity. The pair share a son together.
Former Big Brother Naija reality star, Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has revealed that fame has completely changed her perspective on marriage.
Speaking in a candid interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Tacha stated that she can no longer marry solely for love, emphasizing that as a millionaire, her ideal partner must be a billionaire.
“I can’t marry just because of love. I’m looking for a billionaire. I’m a millionaire, so my potential husband should be richer than me,” she said. “I’m certain I can’t marry for love. If it was before Big Brother Naija, maybe it would have been an option. But right now, it’s a No.”
The controversial media personality explained that before joining the Big Brother Naija reality show in 2019, she believed in marrying for love. However, her experience with fame and success has reshaped her priorities.
Tacha further noted that marriage is not a major concern for her at the moment, adding that her primary focus is on advancing her career and growing her brand.

Before the announcement, the stunning finalist captivated the audience with their elegance and poise as they graced the stage in dazzling evening gowns.

Nigeria’s top YouTube creators and leading brands Today came together to explore a new frontier of collaboration in marketing through PluggedIn, a new initiative by Woof Studios and YouTube. The initiative is designed to move beyond transactional advertising, instead fostering deep, community-focused partnerships between creators and brands. This shift unlocks more authentic ways for brands to connect with a surging digital audience, as YouTube watch time in Nigeria grows by over 50% year-on-year and the platform now reaches over 30 million adults monthly.
The timing for these partnerships is right. Audiences, especially younger fans, are tuning into creators they trust and relate to, making them eager to be part of the conversation. For brands, this means moving beyond traditional ads and working directly with the storytellers who have captured the attention and loyalty of their communities.
At the event, creators and brands got down to business with everything from quick pitches and one-on-one meetings to practical sessions about how to turn a great idea into a finished project. The goal is to spark collaborations that can grow from a single video into a fan-favorite series.
“My community loves food, but they also love the stories behind the food. For a long time, I’ve wanted to create bigger projects, like a travel cooking series or a professionally produced show. Partnerships with brands make that possible,” said Ifeyinwa Mogekwu, creator of Ify’s Kitchen. “PluggedIn is helping us start the right conversations. It’s about finding brands who understand that our viewers want quality content, not just a quick ad. It’s a chance to collaborate on something truly special that everyone will enjoy.”
“Nigerian creators are thinking bigger, and that’s exactly what brands want to be part of,” said Adetutu Laditan, Founder & Creative Director at Woof Studios. “Our role is to handle the business and production complexities, making it seamless for great ideas to get funded, made, and seen by millions.”
For brands, working with creators is a powerful way to connect with people. Data shows that YouTube is part of the journey for two-thirds of consumers when they discover a new brand or product, making it a key place for businesses to build a fanbase.
“The fundamental rule of marketing has changed. Consumers are in full control, and they choose to spend their time with creators they trust,” said Dammy Abodunrin, Industry Manager, Google. “For brands, this represents a key opportunity. Partnering with a creator on YouTube provides a platform for brands to become part of a community and tell their stories through voices that people genuinely listen to. At the same time, these collaborations provide creators with the resources to fund their biggest ideas and build their channels into lasting media businesses. PluggedIn was designed to foster these powerful connections, creating a true win-win for brands, creators, and their fans.”
This new way of working highlights the opportunity that creators themselves see. A recent survey shows that 9 in 10 Nigerian creators agree that YouTube is a powerful platform not only to share their culture but also to build a sustainable business, signaling a robust future for community-centric marketing.
The BBNaija Season 10 house stirred fresh buzz on Tuesday night after housemates Dede and Kola were caught in what many viewers have described as an “almost kiss” moment.
The scene unfolded during a quiet period in the house when the pair were spotted sitting together away from the usual spotlight. With dim lighting and the two leaning unusually close, the moment left fans wondering whether a secret kiss had just happened or if they were simply sharing hushed words.
While cameras captured the intensity of the encounter, the angle and shadows made it nearly impossible to confirm exactly what took place.
As soon as the clip surfaced, social media exploded with reactions. Some fans insisted they had just witnessed the birth of a new BBNaija couple, while others dismissed it as misleading body language, describing it as “too close to call.”
On Twitter (X) and Instagram, shippers have already coined potential couple names for Dede and Kola, while skeptics urged caution, insisting that fans should “wait for clearer evidence” before concluding any romance.
Inside the house, both housemates appeared unbothered and continued their conversations casually afterward. Still, their fellow contestants were not left out, as whispers and knowing glances quickly spread across the house.
With the season heating up, viewers are eagerly waiting to see if this close encounter will blossom into the show’s next big relationship or remain one of Biggie’s unsolved mysteries.
Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemates have been issued a stern final warning after repeatedly flouting one of the show’s key rules.
During Monday night’s live nominations, Big Brother expressed disappointment over the contestants’ persistent habit of tampering with or removing their microphones, describing the act as a “serious breach.”
He stressed that the microphones serve as the crucial link between housemates and the viewing audience, and warned that continued violations would not be tolerated.
The housemates cautioned include Kola, Bright Morgan, Doris, Isabella, Mensan, Rooboy, Sultana, and Thelma Lawson. Big Brother reminded them that switching off or covering microphones not only breaks the rules but also deprives fans of an authentic viewing experience.
He further warned that any future infringements would attract strict penalties, which could affect both the individuals involved and the entire house.
The announcement reinforced Big Brother’s stance that the rules of the competition are non-negotiable, and all housemates must adhere to them throughout their stay in the house.
Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Gigi Jasmine, has been evicted from the “10/10” edition of the reality show.
Her exit followed a dramatic twist that saw 20 housemates placed on possible eviction after a frantic search for an envelope containing an immunity card. Gigi Jasmine eventually became the seventh housemate to leave the competition.
The eviction has heightened tension in the house, leaving the remaining 22 contestants on edge as they strategize to secure their spots in the game.
Recall that Head of House Zita is immune this week and also used the veto power to save Mensan and Faith, while Jason Jae earned automatic immunity after being voted the ‘Most Influential’ housemate in Week Three.
With the stakes rising, housemates must navigate new twists, shifting alliances, and mounting pressure as they compete for the coveted grand prize.
Victory, who had been at the centre of several controversies during his stay, once held the coveted Head of House (HoH) title after winning the challenger game on Monday, August 4. His victory dethroned Thelma Lawson, who had only enjoyed the position for less than 24 hours before being replaced.
With his eviction, the tension in the house continues to rise as remaining contestants battle for survival and the grand prize.
Big Brother Naija Season 10 has taken an unexpected twist as Zita emerged the new Head of House, just 24 hours after Doris was crowned.
The development followed a surprise HOH challenger game introduced by Big Brother, where Zita outperformed fellow housemates Ivatar, Denari, Isabella, and Doris to claim the title.
With her victory, Zita secured immunity from nominations, exclusive access to the Head of House lounge, and the power to influence house dynamics for the week.
Immediately after the challenge, Biggie instructed her to select a house guest, and without hesitation, she named Rooboy.
Zita’s sudden rise to power has set the stage for shifting alliances and fresh drama in the BBNaija 10 house.
Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Oluwakayikunmi Ajibade, popularly known as Kayikunmi, has been evicted from the reality TV show.
His shocking exit comes shortly after Otega’s eviction, who was the third housemate to leave the competition.
It will be recalled that fellow contestant, Sabrina, also exited the show earlier in the week due to medical reasons.
Recall that Kayikunmi said he is considering exiting the show voluntarily.
He has been at the centre of controversies in the house, primarily due to his involvement in romantic relationships with female housemates Isabella, Thelma and Mide.
He fell apart with Isabella, who vowed never to speak with him again after he accepted to be Thelma’s guest on Sunday night after she won the Head of House game.
Kayikunmi was also involved in a messy fight with his crush, Mide’s love interest Bright Morgan on Monday afternoon.
His day got worse after Thelma lost the Head of House challenge to Victory, leading to both of them (Thelma and Kayikunmi) being kicked out of the HoH Lodge.
Kayikunmi, who seemed overwhelmed by the events, confided in Faith during a conversation on Monday evening that he is contemplating a voluntary exit.
“I want to voluntarily exit,” he said.
Faith urged him to rise up to the challenge in the house instead of cowering.
“Why do you want to voluntarily exit? No you are not a b*tch. You have to ask yourself why do want to voluntarily exit,” Faith stated.
