Nigerian disc jockey, recording artiste and music producer Opeyemi Oladipupo Soidiq, professionally known as DJ OP Dot, has continued to make strides in the entertainment industry through music releases, collaborations and recognition for his work.
A native of Ijebu Ode in Ogun State, DJ OP Dot was born on October 11, 1993, and began his professional music career in 2009 after studying Electrical Installation. Over the years, he expanded his career beyond disc jockeying into music production, promotion and recording.
Speaking about his musical influences, the entertainer has credited American record producer DJ Khaled alongside Nigerian DJs Spinall and DJ Neptune for shaping his career.
In 2021, he established DJ OP Dot Music Ent. Ltd., where he serves as the Chief Executive Officer, to manage his entertainment business and music projects.
His breakthrough releases include Gbemidebe, featuring Qdot, which was released on March 31, 2022. Produced by 2tupondeebeatz under DME Records & Entertainment, the song received airplay on Faaji FM, Eko FM and Raypower FM, while amassing more than 10 million streams across digital platforms.

The success of the single coincided with industry recognition, as DJ OP Dot won the DJ of the Year award at the 2022 Ijebu Vogue Awards. A year later, he earned the Best DJ Mix with Promotions award at the same event.
In 2025, he released Believe, featuring Rybeena, and was honoured with the DJ of the Year award at the De Thrills Music Awards held in Port Harcourt.
He sustained the momentum in 2026 with the release of Benjamin, which has garnered more than 600,000 streams across digital streaming platforms. The track also generated engagement from more than 20,000 TikTok users creating content with the song.
Later in the year, DJ OP Dot received another major recognition after emerging as the DJ of the Year at the Golden Star Awards.
Since launching his career in 2009, the Ogun State-born entertainer has continued to build his profile through music releases, collaborations and achievements within Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
