Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has expressed deep gratitude to her fans and supporters following the release of her brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, who was recently arrested on charges of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, and theft.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Regina shared a video celebrating his freedom, describing the moment as a huge relief and a reminder of how loved she is.
“And my brother is out. So, one battle down,” she said cheerfully.
Becoming emotional, the actress reflected on the overwhelming love and support she received during the ordeal.
“Do you know it’s really such a big deal to be loved by a lot of people? Can I brag about that?” she asked. “The kind of love I received this period makes me emotional. I feel good — jokes on you, Ned, because you thought people would hate me.”

Regina went on to appreciate everyone who stood by her and her family.
“I have my mothers, my fathers, my uncles, my brothers, my sisters, my friends, my fans, my online aunties and daddies — everybody fighting for me. Thank you, guys. I can’t even start mentioning names.”
A separate video shared by activist Omoyele Sowore on Monday captured friends and well-wishers, including actress Mercy Johnson, joining in the celebration of Sammy West’s release.
The development follows a period of tension surrounding Regina’s marriage, after she was seen in a viral video breaking down in tears over her brother’s detention, vowing to “go back” as she lamented her family’s ordeal.
Her husband, Ned Nwoko, has since denied allegations of domestic violence, claiming instead that concerns about Regina’s welfare stemmed from her alleged issues with substance use — an assertion that has continued to generate mixed reactions online.
