Veteran Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has opened up about her past romantic experiences, revealing that she once dated younger men purely for fun—but that phase of her life is over.
Speaking during an episode of the Dear Ife podcast hosted by Ifedayo Agoro, Bello said her priorities have shifted, and she now desires a deeper and more meaningful relationship.
“There is no need to [date a younger man again],” she stated. “I have done it before. I think what I want now is different. When I did it, I was having fun. It was for a season; the season is over. I know for sure what I want now is marriage.”

While expressing her openness to marriage, the actress also shared her unique views on how society approaches the institution.
“I don’t mind marriage… But I have a different opinion when it comes to marriage. I think a lot of people are very rigid about it,” she added.
