Cassava Technologies has been authorised to resell access to Anthropic’s Claude artificial intelligence models through Amazon Bedrock.
Claude is Anthropic’s large language model, offering capabilities including advanced reasoning, vision analysis, code generation and multilingual processing.
The agreement will allow organisations across Africa to access Claude through Cassava Technologies as they explore the use of artificial intelligence in their operations and services.
Hardy Pemhiwa, President and Group CEO of Cassava Technologies, said the arrangement would make advanced AI models more accessible to businesses and other organisations across the continent.

Bringing Anthropic’s Claude to them through Amazon Bedrock delivers on this need, which is supported by the infrastructure, partnerships and services African businesses need to adopt them responsibly and take a greater part in the digital economy.

Through Amazon Bedrock, organisations can access Claude models and integrate them into their applications and services.
Cassava Technologies said its authorised reseller status would provide African customers with access to the models through a local technology partner serving businesses across the continent.
The company said its digital infrastructure includes connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity and AI services, as well as data centres across Africa.
