Talent manager Ubi Franklin has showered praises on Chioma Rowland, wife of Afrobeats superstar Davido, for her unwavering support during one of the most challenging periods of his life.
As preparations intensify for the couple’s much-anticipated white wedding in Miami, Ubi took to Instagram to share how Chioma stood by him following the death of his sister.
According to him, grief had initially made him reluctant to travel for the wedding. However, Chioma’s daily phone calls, words of encouragement, and emotional presence gave him the strength to keep going.

“She would stay on the phone, sometimes just listening to me cry, before reassuring me that everything would be okay,” Ubi recalled.
He described Chioma as a loving and compassionate woman whose kindness deeply touched him, adding that he wouldn’t miss the wedding for anything in the world.
“The union God has blessed. Because I am bereaved, I almost didn’t want to go all the way to Miami in my trying time. Chioma made sure she called me every day and sometimes just stayed on the phone to hear me cry and then say, ‘Ubi, everything will be okay.’ And because so much has gone into this planning, I wouldn’t miss this wedding for anything. As we celebrate this beautiful union, I pray God bless them beyond their imagination,” he wrote.
Ubi concluded by offering heartfelt prayers for Davido and Chioma, wishing them a marriage filled with love, joy, and blessings.
