Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has congratulated Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, on his 69th birthday.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, on Saturday in Kano.

Yusuf described Dangote as “an illustrious son of Kano and a shining example of determination, vision and hard work.”

He said Dangote’s achievements have continued to place Kano and Nigeria on the global map.

The governor commended his contributions through investments in manufacturing, refining, agriculture and other key sectors, boosting jobs and national growth.

He also acknowledged Dangote’s sustained philanthropy in healthcare, education, humanitarian support and community development across Kano State.

Yusuf described the business mogul as “a dependable development partner” complementing government efforts to advance socio-economic progress.

“As Alhaji Dangote marks his 69th birthday, I pray to Almighty Allah to grant him sound health, renewed strength and greater wisdom,” he said.

He added that Dangote’s legacy of excellence, generosity and patriotism inspires younger generations.

Yusuf reaffirmed that Kano State remained proud of its distinguished son and would continue to celebrate his contributions.
